Maruti Suzuki India limited today launched the 2020 highly updated Dzire with prices starting at ₹5.89 Lakh. The Dzire has been the best selling Compact Sedan since a long time now.
In terms of exterior changes the 2020 Maruti Suzuki Dzire comes with an all new face that gets an bold premium looking single aperture grille, LED projector head lamps with DRLs placed in them, fog lamps with stylish chrome inserts around them, LED tail lights, precision cut alloy wheels, auto fold wing mirrors etc.
On the interior, the 2020 Dzire comes with twin pod meter cluster, and a new 10.67 cm multi information coloured TFT display, leather wrapped steering, steering mounted MFD control buttons, modern wooden finish on the doors and instrument panels with natural gloss finish, dual tone seats, new 17.78 cm Smartplay Studio touch infotainment system, rear AC vents, rear power outlet socket etc.
Other features included on the 2020 Maruti Suzuki Dzire include Smart Keyless Entry, all new remote key FOB, start stop button, rear parking sensors, smartplay remote.
Powering the 2020 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is the BS-6 1.2L K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT Petrol engine with first-in-segment idle start-stop function. This new engine with higher compression ratio, cooled EGR system and piston cooling jet offers improved engine efficiency and friction reduction. This leads to best in segment fuel efficiency of 23.26 Km/L in MT and 24.12 Km/L in AGS variants. The new K-series engine also offers increased power output of 90Ps @6000rpm and 113Nm of torque. It is available in both Manual and Automatic Gear Shift (AGS) variants.
In terms of safety the 2020 Dzire comes with electronic stability program and Hill-hold function in the AGS variants, bigger sized brakes in the front as well as rear, offering better braking performance and brake life, dual airbags, pre-tensioner force limiter seat belts, ISOFIX (child seat restraint system) and ABS with EBD. Built on the fifth generation HEARTECT platform, the new 2020 Dzire complies with frontal offset, side impact and pedestrian regulations.
In addition to the colour options offered, the 2020 Dzire will be available in two new rich and premium colours, Premium Silver and Phoenix Red.
