2019 Renault Duster Launched at ₹7.99 Lakh

Renault has launched the 2019 Duster today with prices starting at ₹7.99 Lakh. The highly updated Renault Duster comes with around 25 new features loaded to it on the exterior and interiors. The 2019 Renault Duster is also available in two new exterior body colour options – ‘Caspian Blue’ and ‘Mahogany Brown’.

Updates on the outside for the 2019 Renault Duster include new tri-winged full chrome grille, new dual tone body colour front bumper with muscular skid plates, new signature projector headlamps with LED DRLs, R16 Everest Diamond Cut alloy wheels, kayak roof rails, body coloured ORVM, matt­e black tailgate embellisher and Waterfall LED tail lamps to name a few.

On the inside the 2019 Renault Duster now features an all new 7 inch infotainment touchscreen unit with MediaNAV Evolution and inbuilt Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition and EcoGuide. The Duster now comes with ARKAMYS with 6 speakers music system. Other changes include midnight black interiors, premium blue glazed seats, cruise control with speed limiter, ice blue graphic instrument cluster with multi-information display. The 2019 Renault Duster also comes with equipped with a fully automatic climate control, illuminated and cooled glovebox.

In terms of safety the 2019 Renault Duster is compliant with BNCAP front, side & pedestrian crash norms and is compliant with safety features stipulated by the Indian authorities. It is equipped with active and passive safety features like Antilock-Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), driver and passenger airbags, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder & speed alert as standard safety features across the variants. Other features like the Reverse Parking Camera, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Hill-Start Assist are also included on the trims.

Engine options on the 2019 Renault Duster remain unchanged. Engine options include the 1.5L dCi Diesel engine available in two tune options with 85PS with 200Nm and 110PS with 245Nm of power. Petrol option includes the 1.5 H4K unit with 106PS of power and 142Nm of power output. Transmission options include 5-speed manual for the 85PS Diesel while 6-speed manual and AMT options on the 110PS engine options. The Petrol engine comes with a choice of either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic option. The top end RXS trim in Diesel comes with an AWD unit also with a higher ground clearance that of 210mm while the other models have a overall ground clearance of 205mm.
