2019 Ford Endeavour Launched, Prices Start at Rs. 28.19 Lakh

Ford has launched the 2019 Endeavour with prices starting at Rs. 28.19 Lakh. This is the mid life refresh to the Endeavour that was initially given a complete overhaul in 2015. The Endeavour is one of the better selling full sized SUV along with the Toyota Fortuner that it competes with and now also with the Mahindra Alturas G4.

The technical specifications on the 2019 Ford Endeavour remain unchanged and is available in two diesel engine options, a 2.2-litre four-cylinder TDCi and the 3.2-liter five-cylinder TDCi. The 2.2-litre diesel motor that puts out 160PS of power and 385 Nm of torque. This engine now gets a 6-speed manual transmission option along with the existing automatic. With the new introduction of a manual transmission, the 2.2L engine will deliver a best-in-segment 14.2 Km/L fuel economy. The Automatic transmission will continue delivering a fuel economy of 12.62 Km/L. The 3.2- diesel engine generates 200PS of power and 470 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to an automatic transmission.

The 2019 Ford Endeavour is now available in three-trims – 2.2L Titanium Manual, 2.2L Titanium+ Automatic and 3.2L Titanium+ Automatic. The 2.2L Titanium with manual transmission is priced at Rs. 29.19 Lakh while the 2.2L Titanium + with automatic transmission is now priced at Rs. 30.60 Lakh. The fully loaded 3.2L Titanium + comes in now at Rs. 32.97 Lakh. Ford has lowered the prices on both the Titanium + models as compared to the outgoing model prices.

The 2019 Ford Endeavour comes with four-wheel-drive system, an active transfer case with Torque on demand, first-in-segment Terrain Management System, and the impressive water-wading capacity of 800 mm along with outstanding ground clearance of 225mm. The Advanced Terrain Management System (TMS) allows drivers to choose from four preset modes – Normal, Snow/Mud/Grass, Sand and Rock – that alter the vehicle’s throttle response, transmission, four-wheel drive system and traction control.

The 2019 Ford Endeavour comes loaded with a lot of safety features that include 7 air-bags, ABS with EBD, Electronic stability control with rollover stability and traction control, Customizable Ford My Key, rear view camera with active guideline, tyre pressure monitoring system, semi auto parallel park assist, front and rear parking sensors etc.The New Ford Endeavour will be available in five colours, including brand new Diffused Silver as well as Sunset Red, Diamond White, Absolute Black and Moondust Silver. The premium SUV is assembled at Ford’s integrated manufacturing facility in Chennai.
