2019 BMW Z4 Convertible Launched at ₹64.90 Lakh
BMWhas Launched the much awaited latest generation Z4 Roadster in India. The 2019 BMW Z4 Roadster will be available in two options with prices starting at ₹64.90 Lakh for the sDrive20i and ₹ 78.90 Lakh for the top end M40i Ex Showroom India.
With the latest generation Z4 BMW has brought back the well known model to India. BMW had been posting teasers of the Z4 since a few days on the social media. The latest generation Z4 has been developed in collaboration with Toyota. The 2019 Z4 shares a lot of underpinnings with the latest Toyota Supra which also includes the engine. The 2018 BMW Z4 will be imported into India as CBU ( complete built unit) with bookings open as of today across BMW dealerships across India.

When the roof opens, there are no limits to driving pleasure in the all-new BMW Z4 Roadster.”
The 2019 BMW Z4 looks a lot like it’s concept version that was showcased a few years back. The Z4 comes with a wide BMW kidney grill, smoked LED headlamps with DRL in them, large intakes on the bumpers, fog lamps neatly placed on the bumpers. The Z4 drives on 18 inch or 19 inch alloys depending on the variant. The rear includes a wraparound bumper with neatly integrated sharp looking LED tail lamps with twin exhausts looking classy at the rear end. Buyers can also opt for the M Sport Package on the sDrive20i to make the convertible still more sportier.
On the inside the 2019 BMW Z4 looks familiar with signature BMW cabin styling. A massive 10.3 inch multimedia infotainment screen is placed in the middle of the dash while the instrument cluster is another massive 12.3 inch screen replacing the analogue cluster. The Z4 also gets a two-zone climate control, electrically adjustable front seats, ambient lighting and loads of features on its equipment list. The Z4 M40i comes with a 364 watt Harman Kardon music system and also gets a Head Up Display (HUD) on it.
On the safety front, the 2019 Z4 Roadster comes loaded with features like pedestrian detection, emergency braking, rear collision warning, lane departure warning and cross traffic alert, auto parking feature and adaptive cruise control.
The 2019 Z4 is available in two engine options, the Z4 sDrive20i comes powered with the 2.0L four-cylinder Petrol engine that makes 194bhp of power and hits out 320Nm of torque. This version of the Z4 can do a dash to 100 kmph in 6.6 seconds. The top end version of the Z4 M40i comes powered by a 3.0L Petrol unit that makes 335bhp of power and puts out a mammoth 500 Nm of torque. This beast can do a dash to 100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds. Both engines are paired with the BMW 8-speed Steptronic Sport Transmission. Rhe Z4 Roadster also gets 50:50 weight distribution for optimum drive with power sent only to the rear wheels.
