2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS launched at Rs. 2.7 Crore

2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS has been launched in India at a price tag starting at Rs.2.7 Crore. The 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS had made its global debut at this years Frankfurt Motor Show earlier this year. The Quattroporte GTS is one of the fastest premium 4-door sports sedans around the world. Maserati is offering the 2018 in two trim levels, GranLusso and GranSport.

The changes on the 2018 Quattroporte GTS include new front and rear bumper styling, a different face thats now more pointed and comes with an imposing front grille and new adaptive LED headlights with glare free high beam assist included on the package. The GranLusso trim on the Quattroporte GTS gets more booty on it, front spoiler, chrome bumper inserts and body coloured side skirts are added to the kitty and you also get GranLusso badges on the wings and new 20-inch Mercurio alloy wheels with black coloured brake calipers on this version.

On the 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS GranSport trim you get central front and side intakes, aerodynamic splitters, with the centre spoiler and side inserts that come finished in piano black. You also have an option of anĀ  optional exterior carbon package that includes carbon finished ORVMs, door handles, B-pillar cover and front bumper.

On the interiors the 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS gets a lot of changes that includes a 8.4-inch Maserati Touch Control Plus (MTC+) unit mounted in the centre of the dash which can operated via a multi-touchscreen, rotary control in the central console and also via tvoice commands. The touchscreen system also offers Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity along with phone mirroring option on it. The sound system boasts of a 900 watt, 10 speaker Harman Kardon audio system, you also have an 1280 watt, 15 speaker Bowers & Wilkin Surround sound system as optional fitment if you would want to. Safety features on this Maserati includes six airbags, active headrests, lane Keeping Assist (LKA); Active Blind Spot Assist (ABSA); Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) etc.

Powering this super fast beauty is a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that has been tuned to deliver 522 bhp between 6500-6800 rpm with an torque output of 710 Nm beween 2250 and 3500 rpm. The car comes equipped with the all new 8-speed ZF automatic transmission that powers the rear wheels. The GTS can do a dash to 100 kmph in 4.7 seconds and can be pushed to a top speed of 310 kmph if you want to.

Maserati India will begin the deliveries of the 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS the same time when the global deliveries start while the bookings are now open. The 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS competes with the likes of the Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera.
