2018 Mahindra Scorpio Launched at Rs.9.97 Lakh, Now Powered by 140bhp mHawk Engine
Mahindra has launched the 2018 edition of its successful SUV the Scorpio. The 2018 Mahindra Scorpio gets a lot of changes on the outside and inside but the biggest change is at the heart, the Scorpio is now powered by the 2.2 Liter mHawk Diesel engine that also powers the XUV 5OO. Prices for 2018 Mahindra Scorpio start at Rs.9.97 Lakhs.
The 2018 Mahindra Scorpio is available in four trim levels – S3, S5, S7, S11. The Scorpio gets its power from the tried and trusted mHawk engine that is tuned in 2 states of tune (120bhp and 140bhp). the base S3 continues to come powered by the m2DICR (75bhp) diesel engine. The Scorpios engine also gets the new 6th generation Borg Warner Turbo Charger. The Scorpio comes with a 6-speed manual transmission option while there is also an option of a 6-speed automatic transmission now on the lineup. The top end S11 trim also has an AWD option to it. The 2018 Mahindra comes with 9.1 Bosch ABS. The Scorpio is available in 7,8 and 9 seater options. Color options on the 2018 Scorpio – new Pearl White (Only in S11), Diamond White (Except S11), Napoli Black, D Sat Silver, Molten Red and 6 variants – S3, S5, S7 (120 bhp), S7 (140 bhp), S11 (140 bhp) and S11 (140 bhp with 4WD).
