Hyundai India has launched the Elite i20 facelift with many new features and has been priced at a marginal price increase over the previous model.
Hyundai has launched the all new 2018 Elite i20 at the 2018 Auto Expo. The company has added loads of new features both inside and outside to make it thye best value offering yet again in its segment. The overall design remains the same but the car gets new features like the cascade front grille, projector headlamps with LED DRLs and cornering lamps, new design 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, new taillight design, new rear bumper design as well as the tailgate. The car is also been offered with dual tone exteriors and a new glossy C-pillar that adds to that floating roof look.
On the insides, the 2018 Hyundai Elite i20 gets features like a new 7-inch AVN infotainment system with an IPS display, Arkymys sound system, automatic climate control with cluster ionizer, rear armrest with cup holder, sliding front armrest, rear AC vents and best in class USB charger. The car also gets 6 airbags on it top variant, ABS and 2 airbags (as standard), ISOFIX seats and a reverse parking camera with dynamic guide lines.
The 2018 Hyundai Elite i20 is powered by the same engines which is a 1.2-litre Kappa2 petrol motor and a 1.4-litre diesel motor. The petrol motor churns out 82 PS while the diesel delivers 90 PS of max power. The engines on thye new car have been recalibrated to deliver upto 9 percent better fuel economy over the outgoing car. The petrol will come mated to a 5-speed manual while the diesel continues with a 6-speed manual transmission. The petrol has also been launched with a new CVT automatic transmission that replaces the aging 4-speed torque convertor unit. The automatic will be launched in May 2018 while the manual version are already available at a showroom near you.
