2018 Hyundai Creta Gets Mega Opening with 14,366 Bookings in 10 Days

Its been just 10 days that Indias 2nd largest car maker Hyundai Motor had launched the 2018 Creta. The 2018 Creta has received around 14,366 bookings and over 70,000 enquiries across India in just 10 days. The 2018 Hyundai Creta comes with an host of new features with prices starting at Rs. 9.43 Lakh ex showroom.

Launched in 2015, the Hyundai Creta won 26 awards including Indian Car of the year (ICOTY) 2016 and having sold over 4 lakh units. The 2018 facelift to the best selling SUV in its class is more of a cosmetic one with the drivetrain and transmissions remaining the same.

The exterior changes include new cascade design front grille now in matt grey metal finish, new boomerang styled DRL placed around the fog lamps on the bumper, new redesigned dual tone bumpers, fresh design alloys, electric sunroof, Bi-functional projector headlamps, LED DRL and Positioning lamp,redesigned dual tone rear bumpers and tweaked split design tail lamps.

On the inside the 2018 Hyundai Creta now gets 6-way electrically adjustable drivers seat, cruise control, smart key band with wireless phone charger, speed sensing auto door locks, sliding front centre arm rest. The 2018 Creta also gets the latest generation AVN system also seen on the Elantra. This is a 17.77 Touchscreen unit with IPS display with Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink connectivity apart from GPS, Radio, USB and Phone connectivity. and iBlue app for audio control. The smart key band also acts as a fitness tracker controlled by an smartphone application.

The powertrain remain the same on the 2018 Hyundai Creta. Powering the SUV are a choice of three engine options to choose from. 1.6L CRDi Diesel (128PS), 1.4L Diesel (90PS) and a 1.6L Petrol (123PS) with 6-speed Manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options on both petrol and Diesel engine options to choose. Hyundai claims an improved fuel efficiency of 3% in petrol and 4% in diesel on the 2018 Creta.
