2017 Hyundai Creta Facelift Revealed

Hyundai has unveiled the facelift for its best seller Mini SUV Creta at Sao Paulo Auto Show in Brazil. Hyundai has not confirmed if this updated version of the Creta would be making it as it is to India. But the fact remains that the Creta is due for a facelift here in our market. The major changes on the Mini SUV include slightly restyled headlights which now have LED day time running lights, all new center grill that looks more imposing, new design front bumper that includes all new horizontal fog lights on them, and all new faux skid plate.

At the rear the changes are minimal except for an all new rear bumper and restyled tail lamps. On the inside the cabin styling remains a lot similar like the current one. Upgraded infotainment system which now supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay now. On the power train front the updated 2017 Hyundai Creta comes with a wide choice of engine options. You can choose between a 1.6-litre 132 PS Diesel and a 2.0-litre 168PS Petrol motors both offered with manual and automatic transmission options. Coming back to our market the Hyundai Creta is currently the best selling Mini SUV in the Rs 10-20 lakh segment. The vehicle has been extremely successful right since its launch last year.

In India the Hyundai Creta sells in three engine options. You have a 1.4-litre CRDI Diesel, 1.6-litre VGT CRDI Diesel and 1.6-litre VTVT Petrol versions to choose from. The prices for the Hyundai Creta start at Rs 9.22 Lakh and go up to Rs 14.57 lakh for the fully loaded version. The Hyundai Creta competes with the likes of the Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, Ford EcoSport and Honda BR-V. This vehicle also goes against the likes of big SUVs like the Mahindra Scorpio, Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV5OO to an extent.
